Good morning,

It was love at first site! We decided to name the pup, Grace . . . very fitting.

Gracie has the nicest disposition. Now, if we could get our other pup to calm down
. . . . : ) We picked Grace up at Logan Airport last night at 6:15 and made a
quick stop at PetSmart. She's got a beautiful thick Pink/Heart Collar and
Brown/Green/Pink Plaid leash. She's not quite sure that to make of leash just yet.
She's getting along nicely with our other pup, Scooby. Gracie has the house all to
herself today as Scooby was dropped off at the vet this morning for his surgery.

Thank you for entrusting our family with one of your pups. She's sure to have a
nice life and will certainly add love and enjoyment to ours.

May God bless you in peace and in joy this Easter Sunday.

Our very best regards,

Tony, Jill, Bonnie (15), Matthew (13),
Scooby, and Lil' Gracie

Hello Pam,I wanted to thank you for our fawn girl we got from you last spring. She
is growing up to be a very beautiful girl. She has the best temperment and
personality, and has grown very close to our other dane, Wyatt. I have attached of
her playing in the snow today so you can see how she has grown. She is losing her
puppy coat and getting darker. We guess her at 130 pounds now. I have a friend of
my who has fallen in love with our danes and is very interested in getting a puppy
from you. I told her you have puppies now and was very excited. Thanks again, Jeanna Bryant

I just wanted to keep you informed about Fengil.. He is doing wonderful, he
is now sleeping with me every night and he is the most wonderful little
thing. Besides the times when he is tearing something up. But even when he
does that he is still adorable. He is still eating like a pig and he has had
a few accidents but he is learning. My other dog is extremely jealous over
him but she loves his company. They play all day and all night and he has
found the toy basket. I put them all up and in 10 mins he has them all back
out. It snowed here this morning and he didn't want to go out side for
anything. I guess it was just to cold.

Just thought you would want to know how he is doing.

Thank you again

Christin

Hi Pam

I had promised you pictures of the wheaton colored Scottish terrier we purchased from you in May 14, 2007. They are attached.    My family & I just wanted to let you know how much happiness "Charlie" has brought to our family.  From day one we knew we had a great dog.  Charlie is a wonderful addition to our family.  I highly recommend Idlewild Kennels to everyone that meets Charlie.  We recently purchased a cabin on the Mississippi and Charlie is a true river dog.  He loves the boat, the water and all his playmates there.  We have noticed after a weekend at the river with all his other river dog playmates he almost seems depressed the following Monday and Tuesday at home.  :)

Thanks again and I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Hello, I purchased a Brindle Scottish Terrier Last year around this time
and I named him T.J. I just wanted to say how extremely satisfied I am with
him, he is very intelligent and a great best friend. My little girl was a
new born around this time last year and now she has the greatest time
chasing him around. He has brought a smile to face daily and its funny
watching run in circles around her. At first we were a little worried he
wouldn't be a good breed around kids but he is perfect. He has been a good
edition to our family and will be traveling overseas with us soon. Thanks
alot for producing such a great dog for us.

Hi Pam,

Just wanted to let you know that our puppy, Clark, is doing great.  We picked him up from the train station in Galena Father's Day weekend and he's continuing to grow into a beautiful dog!  He fit right in with our family and is doing awesome!  People are always stopping us to look at him.  (He goes everywhere with us!)
Our four year old daughter loves him and he's great with our new baby.  We are very pleased with our new addition and we all love him to pieces!  Thanks for such a great puppy.

Dear Pam,
Just wanted to give you an update on "Frankie."  This is the sweetest puppy ever and I am STILL thrilled with her.  She hated stairs and a leash and she has conquered both.  I take her for short daily walks on the leash as her attention span is a little short, but she is doing well for the time we are out.  She does a great job of fetching and then coming back, sitting, and dropping the object on comand....well, most of the time.   She is so funny in bed at night.  Most of the time she will lay right in front of me and cuddle but occasionally, she feels like drapping herself over me or laying behind me and putting her head over me in the crease of my neck.  We make her sit to receive her dog biscuit and she is becoming very well mannered.  The hardest thing to deal with is the house-training, but isn't it always...she acts like she doesn't have a clue when it comes to all that.
Anyway, thank you again so much for all your efforts to get her on board and get her to me for the trip.  She was a hit with everyone.
Sincerely,
Ronetta

Pam, she was about an hour late...when she was suppose to be here, they were waiting for takeoff, but she arrived and is adorable.  She didn't want to come out of the crate so I just lifted her out and she was just a little nervous for a few seconds and then just relaxed and layed against me for big hugs and kisses.  My daughter and son adore her and she is just full of it.  Such long legs!!  She is an adorable, awkward, bundle of energy and she is just what we wanted.  Thanks so much for all the trouble to get her to us.  We haven't named her but need to do that soon.  We are letting her burn off a little energy and then hopefully into the crate....  She didn't poop or pee,  that we could see, on the way.  She did poop after she was home for about 45 min.  So everything works!
Thanks again,
Ronetta

Pam, we love her! She is soooo cute and such a great puppy! It certainly is obvious your great care and love comes out in her. She was in her crate from 11pm till 6:30am without a single cry. She is doing great with house training. She responds to her name. We were wondering if you use it with her at all? She comes when we call her. She really is out to please and please she has!! Her personality is so outgoing and sweet. The whole family went to the airport to pick her up!! My two older children are  at the University of CT about 20 min from the airport and my daughter and husband went with me. She got quite the welcome. She was so happy and so people friendly right away. No shyness or uncertainty- took to us all right away.
When we got home she played, ate and drank (we gave her some food and water at the airport, also) was very comfortable seemed right at home. After awhile she went in her crate by herself with her toy and nylabone.  I took her out once more and she pooped and peed a second time before going in her crate for the night. She always goes in with no problem and no crying. I'm sure that is to your credit for introducing it to her early on. She is definitely a well adjusted  wonderful puppy.
I have a  question about her food. What brand did you send along with her? I had gotten the puppy Iams but it is different from what you sent and I would like to give her the same or at least get more to be able to mix with the Iams switch. Also, did you say about 1/2 cup three times a day and at what times were you feeding her?  She will be going to the vet tomorrow evening. I will bring along her shot record,Thanks!
I can't thank you enough for everything it has been such a pleasure doing business with you. My daughter is the tech person I will have her send you some pictures. Do I sound like the new mom?? I don't know how you can part with them. I guess you have to  get used to it and when there is a whole litter you must be glad to see them on their way. I would be so worried about their new homes. I can assure you Sadie is in a safe and happy home and will be loved immensely.  I will be in touch. Thanks so much  Pat, Sadie and all the Wilson's

Scott......oh goodness, he melted my heart BIG TIME......Im keeping him seperate from my boys right now as they are having issues.....but I assure you, he is in the house and doing fine.  I have a baby gate up between where I am now and the living room.....I picked him up and he gave me kisses........He has an ouchy on his mouth and nose......Connie said he had words with another dog through the fence LOL....darn scotties can be so naughty sometimes......but I love him......if I can work their issues out between them, I would LOVE to keep him.  I think once he is neutered, it will be better.  He has an appointment a week after Jasmine.

Thank you Pam for trusting me with your babies.......rest asure, they are in great hands........Im still wanting a white scottie girl, or boy.....doesnt matter so please keep me in mind.
I can help with all the scotties or smaller breeds anytime you need it......

I bought a little female wheaten Scottie from you three weeks ago.  I just wanted you to know how much joy she has brought into my life.  She is so funny, cuddly and energetic that it is unbelievable.  I named her Annie Belle!

My vet said she is very healthy.  She had her first haircut and bath today.  She has started to lose those horrid milk teeth - then she will be the perfect Scottie.  She is doing great on her housebreaking as well.

My groomer took the last of your business cards for a friend of hers.  If you could send some more to me, I would appreciate it.  I know you only have so many Scotties, but you never know!  It seems that a lot of people want your business cards.

Thank you so much for my Annie Belle.  I will send photos soon.

Hey!
She's here and she's perfect. Kevin said there was a delay in her arrival
and she got in about 7:30 but everything went good. She is so gorgeous! She
is definitely my newest child. :) She's perfect and I love her to death!
She's got the neatest personality and is just beautiful. I left your phone
number at home by accident and we just now got home. She's been super about
pottying outside the crate. Her bedding was clean and she pottied right when
Kevin picked her up I guess and then he took her out a few times before we
fianlly got her picked up after the wedding. We'll wait until at least
tomorrow to get everyone aquainted. :) The puppy packet is great too! I
haven't gotten to look through it thoroughly but what I've seen is neat.
Very helpful. I will definitely definitely recommend your pups in the
future. My cousin's new in-laws are actually very interested in them, she
was concerned about life span so I told her I'd ask what your average life
span was. She said she would prefer her dogs live forever. :) Anyhow, I'd
better get to bed! Thank you so much for the wonderful puppy!!! She's
AWESOME!!

Hi Pam,
I just wanted to let you know that Andy & I are enjoying Frasier so much. It took us a few nights to get into a routine with him, but he is settling in very well. He is a very smart boy. He is already fetching tennis balls, and he is doing very well with his house training.
Everyone that has seen him comments on his beautiful markings. He is very affectionate towards us and also to anyone that comes by to visit. You did a great job with him & I just wanted to thank you.
Taping his ears is a little bit of a challenge, but with practice and help from his vet, we will get it right soon.
Thanks again for everything.

Hi Pam,

We haven't corresponded or spoken for a long while.  But I wanted to take this opportunity to forward on a picture of Matti, since she is now very close to her 1st birthday.  Matti is absolutely wonderful, a bundle of fun, we smile and laugh a lot because of her "shenanigans", and she and Simba get along very well, and play together quite a bit.  Matti, of course, still being the puppy.  She also likes the cat (Bear) and plays with Bear as much as the cat will allow.  She has also "made up" a game she plays in the Jeep when we travel.  Fun to watch her play that too.  She has completed basic obedience class, graduating with 100 points out of a possible 110.  She still has a long ways to go though toward becoming a "model" citizen.  Right now my biggest problem with her is that she wants to greet (and play with) everyone she sees, whether on leash or off leash.  The off leash is the real problem.  She still does not fully understand the come command!!

Please feel free to add this e-mail to your testimonials.

Hi Pam!!
I just wanted to write to tell you what a JOY Riley is... we absolutely love him, he is so well mannered. We went away for a family party on saturday and people were being loud and kids were petting him and he was just as good as could be, I think i've only heard him bark a few times! He sleeps a lot, and my perfect little cuddle buddy.

Thank you so much for everything, everyone at the family party says that they want a little wheaten pup!

Hope to hear from you soon,

Mayleigh Kuntzsch

Pam,
I got a Dane from you in 2002. He was from Ms. Harley Girl. He is a wonderful dog. Zander was so easy to housebreak and train. We were thinking of getting another Dane but were kind of wanting to avoid the puppy stage if possible. Do you ever have a Dane available thats around 6 months?  I have recommended you to several people. I know one person bought Fawn from you. You guys are awesome!
                                             Thanks,

Hi Pam!

My husband and I drove down to Ames, Iowa this fall to meet you to pick up the female
collie puppy! Thank you for such a wonderful puppy - we absolutely love her! I just
wanted to send some pictures of her - I took them today with a digital camera. We named
her Ginger! I took her to puppy kindergarten for 2 months and she learned so fast! :)
Thanks again - we really enjoy her!

Pam--

Wanted to let you know how things are going with Cody. We went to the Vet on
Tuesday and everything was well...the doctor said that the pup was "robust,"
the fecal sample was negative, and no other heath problems were identified.
We scheduled the vaccinations to resume on 1/9. The doctor scanned the ID
chip and the number matched. All else is well.

We are enjoying the pup very much. He's a lot of work but also a great joy.
He has settled into crate training and we can make it through the night now
with just one "outside" at around 3:00 and another around 6:00. He seems to
have a very good temperament--not as "wired" as some of the breed, as the
doctor commented. Saturday and Sunday he experienced his first snow--and he
just loves it! In fact, he tricked us into thinking he had to go out to pee
and he just wanted to play in the snow.

Thanks again for everything. I'll keep in touch and send you some photos of
Cody in his new home.

Jim

Dear Idlewild Kennels,
I wanted to thank you so much for sending us Johnny Walker "Blue".  He was by far my 4 year old daughter Bailey's favorite Christmas gift!  He is adjusting like a true champ playing in the snow and even sled riding with Bailey.

I was very hesitant about purchasing a dog from the internet, but you have certainly made it a simple experience that I would not hesitate to do again!

Thanks for our little bundle of JOY!

Hi Pam-
I just wanted to let you know that everything is going great with our new
addition to our family.  The boys were very surprised and very happy. We are all extremely in love with him already.  Thanks for all you did.  He
is just adorable.  I took him to the Vet on the 30th and everything
appears fine.  He did have to have that first shot again since too much
time had elapsed since his first shot.     I am somewhat surprised at just
how well he does his job when we take him outside.  He does his job almost immediately.  Did you start him on that routine because he seems to know what is expected.  Unfortunately, we've had our share of accidents though. He does really well at night, even the first night he only woke up to go outside one time.  He seems to really like his kennel and doesn't fuss when I put him in there.  We did end up calling him "Hudson".  My husband said you thought he was a "Hudson".  Thanks again for such a smooth transition.  I'll try to keep you updated on his "life" every once in a while.     Thanks, Denise Klundt

Pam, Briet had a Dr. appt. yesterday for her puppy shots and weighed a strong 22#.
This Friday she gets her ears cropped and Steve's excited about that.
The last 2 dogs we've owned he wanted to and I wouldn't so now not only
did he get his way with the choice of color but now the ear cropping.
Steve's so spoiled! HA!

2 days after we purchased Briet from you my Steve was diagnosed with cancer of his Liver and is now on a liver donor transplant waiting list. He's started his chemo and has reacted so adversely to it and Briet has been the most nurturing of things for him. She's truly been a blessing for us. She's strong, beautiful, loving, loyal, and oh so sensitive. She's housebroke for the nights already and is doing well with days. It's been fun to watch her acquire an interest in favorite toys and I've made her a huge pillow that has deterred her interest for our furniture. She's absolutely wonderful and is doing great with obedience.

Have a good day and thank you so much for this new baby of ours.

Kathy and Steve-

Thank you so much.  We absolutely adore her and so do all our neighbors.  Just like you said everyone gathers around to see her.  We will keep you posted of course.  It was so nice to finally meet you in person.  Her first vet appt is on Tues, I can't wait to see what she weighs.  I hope you had a safe trip back
