I had bought Ruger from you about 6 years ago now out of your
Midas and
Jasmine litter and I am looking for another puppy. Ruger is getting
older and I would like to get a pup while it can still follow him
around. He is the best dog I can't even find the words to explain him.
He is perfect. I loved working with you and trusted you with all your
experience with the breed. I would love to see your new upcoming litters
of puppies and would be very interested in purchasing another puppy from
you. Wish I could get another one just like Ruger but that would be one
in a million. He is very loved, very spoiled and has acres to run on
now.

It has been a long while so I decided to write you! Echo is doing fantastic! She is now 95lbs and growing strong! She is such a baby and loves to cuddle and share food. She sleeps with my son every night and she also has her own chair in the living room. She absolutely loves people and other dogs. She is very nosey and always has to know what everyone is doing. She loves giving kisses and playing with her bones and rope. She is the best dog ever!! We are also adding to our family this summer as I am expecting Identical Twin Girls :) I know Echo will love them! I have attached a pic of Echo with my niece, she just loves Echo. Hi, I had gotten our kira out of Midas. We love Kira so much there is no words to tell you how close of a bond we have, its so deep is incredible and I dreed the day she moves on and I try not to think about it. She is a super special dog. Hi Pam,
I just wanted to thank you for such a wonderful great dane and give you an
update on
Koda, he is doing great. He was potty trained within a week and is very
quick to
catch on. Him and our cat still do not get along after two months and we
had a
little incident where she bit him and he developed an abscess and infection
which
meant weekly trips to the vet. However, he now has a clean bill of
health again.
He weighed 41 pounds at 14 weeks so he is eating well. He goes to a
puppy training
and will come on command, sit, lay and shake with only hand signals. He is a
very
intelligent dog and has brought lots of fun and joy into our household.
We have
also discoverd a couple houses down from us a fawn great dane that is 5 years
old
that is from Idlewild, it is one of Midas's. So Koda and him have gotten
together.
We cannot thank you enough for such a great dog:)

Dear Pam,
We can't thank you enough for selling us our beautiful Dane.
Zoey is now 16 weeks
old and 45 lbs. She has fit right in with our other two dogs.
Zoey also had her
hernia surgery and has fully recovered. She is a complete
character. She was potty
trained by seven weeks. She has adopted the love seat as hers.
We also didn't
realize that when we purchased her, we were getting a free dishwasher
as well. She
is the biggest lap dog that we have ever had. She has won a very
special place in
our hearts, and we can not thank you enough.

I just wanted to let you know that Emma is doing great, and that we
took her
to the vet the day after getting her from you and she got a clean bill
of
health. She's adjusting very well, and is soo smart! Are you feeding
your
dogs Wheaties over there? lol. She's already whining at the door when
she
has to go potty, and learned "Sit" in just 2 days! It took Chloe at
least a
week to learn her first trick, so that really shocked us.
Chloe has taken to Emma very well too, better than we even expected!
The
first night, Emma was bugging the cat a little too much and got hissed
at.
Chloe jumped right in to protect her, it was the cutest thing!
Thanks so much for bringing her into our lives, she's such a doll.
I'll be
sure to send you some pics in a couple months, when she gets bigger.

I just wanted to give you an Echo update :) She is growing like crazy
and now
weighing in at 40lbs! She loves attention everywhere we go.
Everyone loves giving
it to her! We cant go anywhere without people complimenting her and
stopping to pet
her. She loves to get treats for sitting and is such a little mouch! Lol
At puppy
play group she has made some friends. She also likes to go between
everyone's legs
until they pet her or give her a treat. She is such a sweetie! I
cant imagine our

Pam~There was a 2-hour flight delay because of an emergency stop in
minneapolis. We finally got her at 8:40 pm. She was quiet until we got to the
car and then cried to be let out. We were greeted with lots of kisses.
Sapphire then slept in a towel on my lap the whole way home. Once we got home
she immediately started kissing and playing with our 4 girls. She's absolutely
beautiful Pam and she has the most wonderful personality. Thank you so much.

Just wanted to let you know Merlin is doing well! The vet was shocked at
how
healthy he is still. Just now starting to slow down, not liking the cold at

this year. So we got him a new pillow and space heater of his own for
Christmas to
put at the bedroom door. He and the kids are great together, he is the
ultimate
babysitter.
If you are thinking of retiring another in the next couple of years, please
keep us
in mind. We have really enjoyed him, he is the best dog I have EVER owned.

Hello Pam. Just a little update on Deacon. I can't begin to thank you enough for such a beautiful and sound puppy. I am amazed by the similarities with the danes and wolfhounds. As for the differences I noted: I'm just loving the dane to pieces! What a great great dog!!! I said I would have no more big dogs but there are no regrets at all.... not a one... and you've restored my hope for additional big dogs to come. My experience with the wolfhounds has enabled me to develop a great environment for his growing size. He's an easier keeper for me as far as grooming and cleaning about the house. He loves his walks, is excellent on and off leash, I can take him anywhere, and we need not trek a mountain or two for him to be satisfied. His personality is just awesome. Good morning, It was love at first site! We decided to name the pup, Grace . . . very fitting. Gracie has the nicest disposition. Now, if we could get our other pup to calm down . . . . : ) We picked Grace up at Logan Airport last night at 6:15 and made a quick stop at PetSmart. She's got a beautiful thick Pink/Heart Collar and Brown/Green/Pink Plaid leash. She's not quite sure that to make of leash just yet. She's getting along nicely with our other pup, Scooby. Gracie has the house all to herself today as Scooby was dropped off at the vet this morning for his surgery. Thank you for entrusting our family with one of your pups. I just wanted to keep you informed about Fengil.. He is doing wonderful, he is now sleeping with me every night and he is the most wonderful little thing. Besides the times when he is tearing something up. But even when he does that he is still adorable. He is still eating like a pig and he has had a few accidents but he is learning. My other dog is extremely jealous over him but she loves his company. They play all day and all night and he has found the toy basket. I put them all up and in 10 mins he has them all back out. It snowed here this morning and he didn't want to go out side for anything. I guess it was just to cold. Just thought you would want to know how he is doing. Thank you again Christin

I had promised you pictures of the wheaton colored Scottish terrier we purchased from you in May 14, 2007. They are attached. My family & I just wanted to let you know how much happiness "Charlie" has brought to our family. From day one we knew we had a great dog. Charlie is a wonderful addition to our family. I highly recommend Idlewild Kennels to everyone that meets Charlie. We recently purchased a cabin on the Mississippi and Charlie is a true river dog. He loves the boat, the water and all his playmates there. We have noticed after a weekend at the river with all his other river dog playmates he almost seems depressed the following Monday and Tuesday at home. :)

Hello, I purchased a Brindle Scottish Terrier Last year around this time and I named him T.J. I just wanted to say how extremely satisfied I am with him, he is very intelligent and a great best friend.
