Idlewild Kennels Health Guarantee and Contract

With this purchase agreement is the understanding that the puppy (identifed below):

I have agreed to purchase a puppy from Idlewild Kennels with AKC registration and full
knowledge and understanding of the health guarantee.
The Puppy we purchase has received at least three de-wormings and has been vaccinated against canine distemper virus, canine adeno-virus type 2 (hepatitis), canine parvo-virus, and canine para-influenza virus.
The puppy must be seen by a licensed veterinarian within three days of purchase for a
physical and fecal examination.  Upon examination, any serious health problems must be
reported to the breeder within 24 hours of examination. A signed statement from the
veterinarian explaining the details of the problem must be provided to the breeder upon
request.
If a puppy is returned after the initial examination (within 72 hours) with a serious health
problem, Idlewild Kennels will refund the purchase price. Shipping and vet costs are non refundable.
If death occurs due to genetic health problems in the FIRST YEAR of purchase, Idlewild
Kennels will replace or allow full credit toward another puppy from Idlewild Kennels of equal as soon as a puppy becomes available. Replacement when available or credit will be given
provided the terms of this health guarantee were followed and a signed death certificate and autopsy report from the veterinarian be presented showing  regular treatments, proper vaccinations given and an explanation of cause of death.

FEEDING INSTURUCTIONS
During the first year puppies must be fed a quality pet food three times a day. All quality foods should list a meat product as the first ingredient. It is the responsibility of the buyer to visit the vet regularly and continue with all recommended vaccinations. I further understand that with the nature of parasites, Idlewild Kennels does not guarantee the puppy will be free of worms or other parasites, including coccidia, but that every measure
possible has been taken to assure that the puppies will be parasite free.

The seller is not liable for any veterinary costs incurred. All shipping costs are at the expense of the buyer.
The seller sells a puppy as a pet of show/breeding quality prospect; although buyer understands that NO guarantee can be made in this regard.

If terms and conditions are not fulfilled, this contract is VOID. Buyer agrees that he/she
understands this contract fully, and that this contract is under the jurisdiction of the state of Iowa. It is agreed that the place of venue shall be Johnson County Iowa.

IDLEWILD KENNELS SPAY/NUETER CONTRACT

We agree that the dog purchased from seller, Idlewild Kennels will be spay or neutered by the age of 6 months. Original AKC Registration application will be mailed at the time proof of spay/neuter has been provided to Idlewild Kennels by a licensed veterinarian. If I fail to do this, or if the dog is bred prior to spaying, I agree to pay Pam Foster, d.b.a. Idlewild Kennels, the sum of $1000.00
At  no time during the terms of this contract, will the buyer transfer any ownership right to above dog to any other party, unless notified seller ahead of time in writing. If notice is approved by seller, the buyer may proceed with ownership transfer. However, the original contract shall follow the dog and all subsequent owner transfers are subject to and bound by original contract. If the buyer decides to sell said puppy seller shall be given the first right of refusal at the original purchase price.
